Do you like cooking?
I'm a very weird (rara) person...I can't cook, but I love watching Arguiñano's programme and reading recipes (recetas) on magazines and books...I don't know why...Maybe I was a very good cook (cocinera) in other life, hehehe...I've thought we could write in here some easy recipes we know...Of course,you must write them in English!! Thanks in advance...
Cookies are my speciality (it's a joke)...
Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
½ tsp (teaspoon) baking soda
¾ tsp salt
½ cup butter
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 egg

1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate chips
How to cook?
1. Sift (tamiza) together flour, baking soda (bicarbonato) and salt.
2. In a medium bowl, cream (bate) together butter and sugars.
3. Beat in (bate) egg and vanilla until fluffy (suave).
4. Stir in (remueve) dry ingredients.
5. Fold in (mézclalo con) chocolate chips (láminas).
6.Spread (extiende) butter out onto a pizza pan or similar sized heart-shaped cake or cookie pan.
7. Bake in preheated (precalentado) 350°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

I've just arrived.
I've spent the whole long weekend eating a lot... (It's what happens when you travel with your family..)
I feel a little fat... :(
But I know that, as soon as the school begins, Lourders'll make us run more than one kilometre...

Emilio, I agree with you... Arguiñano is sometimes ridiculous, but I think he talks nonsense in order to improve his communication with the viewers...for instance, my mother (she is an old person) is charmed with him...Anyway, I like the way he cooks...all his recipes seem so easy!!

Susana, have you ever seen me cook? I always have lunch at school, isn't it a little suspicious? At the weekend I usually travel somewhere or I go to my mum's to have lunch (and take some tupperwares with food for the week,...), so trust me: THE REAL COOK HERE IS SUSANA!!! I have seen her cook some kind of stew. Believe me, I can try, but I don't really like cooking...
And, Sue, you are right, at home David is the one who cooks when we cook, so I'll ask him to write some recipes in our blog, ok?
