SUSANA'S NEW HOUSE

YUUUUUHUUUUUU!!!!

SUSANA'S GOT A NEW AND VERY BIG HOUSE!!!

This is a post to give ideas on how we can celebrate this marvellous event: for example, we can hold a "cushion party". Evrybody must bring a nice cushion to her house in orde to attend the party, so that we'll have a place to sit on. And of course, she will keep the cushions!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS, DEAR SUS!!!

J. Bardem's friends

This is a post about friends...and first of all, we've chosen Javier Bardem's friends (hehehe). We think you don't know anything about this person, but in spite of that, it's worth a try! (merece la pena intentarlo)!

Look at this photo carefully and answer the following questions:

1. Who is the person next to Javier Bardem?

2. What are they laughing at?

3. Who is wearing the coolest T-shirt?

4. Why are they together?

5. What happened before the shot (foto) was taken?

6. What do both of them do for a living (dedicarse a)?

7. Do you think they are really friends?

8. Does the unknown person's face ring a bell (te suena la cara)?

When all the questions are answered, maybe J. Bardem offers himself to check them and correct the wrong ones!!

If you want to appear with your best friend on our blog, send a photo here.

Let's pay homage to RAP music

We know most of you are rap fans...We suppose Cultura Urbana Festival has been crowded with students from our school!!

Rappers, like poets, choose the language they use and how they use it...They're artists!! For this reason, we'd like to pay homage to (rendir homenaje a) RAP music, rappers and all of you who love this way of life...

Who dares to translate any passages of SFDK's song into English?

Who dares to record a rap song on our voice mail?
We are waiting for you!!!

Always the same on TV....

Hello!

What's happening with TV?

We have been watching the same on TV for lots of days...

No matter the time I watch TV, whenever I switch it on, Letizia Ortiz or "La Pantoja" appear on it.

Here I've found a very funny video about Letizia Ortiz...
It's very different from what we are used to watching...

In an Official Visit with the Prince,
the wind
played a dirty trick on her! (le jugó una mala pasada)!

Of course, this video is a montage (which consists on repeating the scene several times),
but the
event was completely real!

It's very well done, isn't it?

A beautiful story of love, for Mothers’ day

Unce upon a time there was a woman that was angry because her daughter, who was 5 years old, had wasted a roll of paper wraping (envolviendo) a box.

The next day, the daugther gave to her mother the box, and she told her : ¨This is for you, mum¨.

The mum was embarrased because her behaviour of the day before had been bad…

She unwrapped the present, and she saw that inside the box there wasn´t anything, and she told her daugther: ¨When you give a present, you must put something inside the box!¨

The little child, crying, told her: ¨Mum, the box isn´t empty, I put a lot of kisses for you inside the box¨

The mum, excited, hugged her daugther.

When the child grew, she moved very far to live in another house. Her mother, when she missed her, put her hand into the box and took out one imaginary kiss.

I hope you like it!

Momisms: Things your mom always says

Can you remember some of the things that your mother always said to you when you were a child? (Maybe she STILL says them to you!) It's amazing how mothers all over the world say the same things to their children!

Would you like to translate some of the following ones? Which of them is used by your mom? I think it may be a very fun activity!! Thanks.

2. When I was your age, I had to walk ten miles through the snow, uphill, by myself, to go to school. Cuando yo tenía tu edad, tenía que ir andando 10 millas a través de la nieve, en cuesta, yo sola, para ir al colegio¡¡ (Irene H., 1ºBach.D)
3. What do you think, money grows on trees? "¿Qué te crees que el dinero sale de los árboles?" (Tamara, 1ºBach. C)
4. Is your homework finished? Has terminado los deberes? (Irene H., 1ºBach.D)
5. I'm not your maid! "Yo no soy tu criada" (Sue, 1ºBach.C)

7. Going to a party? Who's going to be there? "¿Vas a una fiesta; quién va a ir? (Sue,1ºBach.C)
8. Do you think this is a hotel? You can't just come here only to sleep. "Qué te crees que esto es una pensión? No puedes venir aquí sólo a dormir." (Gema, teacher)
9. Did you flush?
10. Always wear clean underwear in case you get in an accident. "Ponte ropa interior limpia no sea que tengas un accidente o te pase algo" (Susana, teacher)
11. Are you going out dressed like that? "¿Vas a ir vestida así?" (Lucía, 1ºBach.D)
12. Am I talking to a brick wall? "¿Estoy hablando con la pared?" (Tami,1ºBach.C)
13. As long as you live under my roof, you'll do as I say.
14. Don't make me get up!
15. Don't ask me WHY. The answer is NO.
"No me preguntes por qué.La respuesta es no." (Lucía, 1ºBach.D)
